Milwaukee: Bringing sexyback
by Chris Lato
I couldn’t resist a few words about this one.
Marie Claire, a magazine I am not the target audience for, has deemed Milwaukee the ‘Sexiest City’ on a list called ‘Sexy 101.’
Pick your jaw up off the floor, all you sexy people out there.
If memory serves, hasn’t Milwaukee also been designated among the drunkest and fattest cities in recent years? Hmm. Do we look better after having a few beers? Hey America, do you find our fried cheese curds alluring? In case you haven’t heard, our state fair is HOTT.
I couldn’t help but laugh when I first heard this story, but seriously, if I was running Milwaukee’s marketing and PR, I would be looking to have a lot of fun with this. Put it on T-shirts, bumper stickers, ads. With apologies to Salt-n-Pepa… ‘Milwaukee Ain’t for Everyone … Only the Sexy People.’
We have the best food, the tastiest brews, and we look sexy while enjoying both. Las Vegas? Los Angeles? New York? Whatever.
Work it, Brewtown!
