Week in review

by Chris Lato

In lieu of fresh bloggy goodness today, I’d ask that you check out my appearance this morning on Wisconsin Public Radio’s ‘Week in Review,’ hosted by Joy Cardin. As always, a pleasure to appear.

One question, though – unfortunately, the discussion about the Brittany Zimmermann murder and the Madison 9-1-1 system’s response to her call was cut short. I will plug the latest column by Bill Lueders, who was my friendly opposition on Joy’s program today. Hats off to Isthmus for staying on this story.

I am curious to know more about just how difficult it is to get rid of the ‘bad apples’ that are contributing to the problems at the 9-1-1 center – whether it is the union, general mismanagement, or whatever. I guess that will have to be a conversation for another time.
